We always say... bring 2 pairs of comfortable shoes, shorts/T-shirts but also some warmer layers. Bring a water proof jacket that is big enough to fit layers on underneath if it is cold.
-
No not generally as we don't want to have the stress of getting you from the highlands to the airport! Traffic is unreliable so best not to fly on the day your tour starts or ends.
-
If you are on a private tour, we can pick you up from your accommodation in Glasgow or Edinburgh. Sometimes we do pick-ups from elsewhere but this is on a case by case basis and may mean additional charges. For 'join a tours' you will be picked up in Edinburgh city centre, you will be informed of the specifics after booking.
-
Generally a 9am pick-up and we aim to be at your location between 5 and 7pm. If you are on a private tour and would like to have shorter days, we can do what we can to accommodation this.
-
Lunch - this depends what type of tour you are doing and what time you have, often lunch is a quick stop to pick up some sandwiches but we always make time for this.
Dinner - No, we will let you know where you will be staying in advance and this is up to you to book if you would like to. This is because it is a very individual choice.
