Tartan Viking Skye Giveaway – Official Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

This giveaway is promoted by Tartan Viking Ltd., Unit 1C Murraysgate Industrial Estate, Bathgate, United Kingdom.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By entering this giveaway, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and the instructions set out in the associated Instagram post.

3. Eligibility

3.1. Open to individuals aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

3.2. Open worldwide where lawful. Entrants are responsible for ensuring participation is permitted in their country of residence.

3.3. Employees of the Promoter and anyone directly connected with the giveaway are not eligible to enter.

3.4. Entry is via Instagram only. Entrants must have a valid Instagram account.

4. Entry Period

4.1. The giveaway opens on 1 June 2026 and closes on 22 June 2026 at 12:00 PM BST.

4.2. Entries submitted after the stated closing time will not be counted.

5. How to Enter

5.1. To enter, participants must:

  • Follow the Promoter’s Instagram account
  • Like the giveaway post
  • Comment on the giveaway post

5.2. Each comment counts as one entry. Unlimited entries are permitted, provided each entry complies with these Terms & Conditions.

5.3. No purchase is necessary. Entry is free.

6. Prize

6.1. One winner will receive a trip for the winner and up to three guests, for 4 people total.

6.2. The prize includes:

  • A 3-day private Isle of Skye tour
  • 2 nights’ accommodation, minimum 3-star hotel or B&B, based on 2 double/twin rooms with double occupancy
  • Breakfast included
  • Pick-up from the winner’s hotel in Edinburgh at the start of the tour
  • Return to Edinburgh at the end of the tour
  • Entry to:
    • Dunvegan Castle
    • A Loch Ness cruise

6.3. The prize is subject to availability and may vary due to operational requirements, weather conditions, or supplier availability.

7. Prize Exclusions

The prize does not include:

  • Flights or airfare, international or domestic
  • Travel to/from Edinburgh prior to pick-up
  • Travel insurance
  • Lunches, dinners, drinks, or personal expenses
  • Additional attraction entries not listed above
  • Visas, passports, or travel documentation

8. Travel Conditions

8.1. Travel is not permitted in May or September.

8.2. The prize must be booked by 31 December 2026.

8.3. Travel must take place in 2027 or 2028.

8.4. All travel dates are subject to availability.

8.5. Once dates are confirmed, changes may not be possible.

8.6. If the winner fails to travel on agreed dates, the prize will be forfeited.

9. Winner Selection & Notification

9.1. The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.

9.2. The winner will be contacted via Instagram direct message.

9.3. The winner must respond within 72 hours.

9.4. If no response is received, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

10. Prize Restrictions

10.1. The prize is:

  • Non-transferable
  • Non-refundable
  • No cash alternative is available
  • Not for resale

11. Content & Marketing Rights

11.1. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable promotional activity during the trip, including photography and video content.

11.2. The Promoter may use this content for marketing purposes across digital channels, including social media, websites, and advertising.

11.3. The winner grants the Promoter a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and distribute such content.

12. Publicity

12.1. The Promoter may publish the winner’s first name and last initial for transparency purposes.

12.2. By entering, entrants agree to this unless they object in writing.

13. Data Protection

13.1. Personal data will be used solely for administering the giveaway and fulfilling the prize.

13.2. Data will not be shared with third parties except where necessary for prize fulfilment.

14. Platform Disclaimer

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta.

By entering, entrants release Instagram from any responsibility.

15. Liability

15.1. The Promoter is not responsible for:

  • Technical failures or lost entries
  • Travel disruption due to weather, strikes, or external factors
  • Costs not expressly included in the prize

15.2. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded.

16. Cancellation or Changes

The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the giveaway where necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland, and disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Scottish courts.
